I love your painting and if there is a way to purchase a copy I would love to treasure it in my home. I have not experienced the same kind of loss as you but my 3rd child was very shortly to be born, I was about 32 weeks along and she died. We delivered her and got to be with her a very small moment. What you said in there really struck those cords and were spot on. It’s been just a little over a year since that day. The why’s, the grief, where they would be what they would be like, but also the immense love and peace that has come from Jesus and God catching us, and the people he sends to do that. But I have felt excruciating pain but also have felt joy while in it. I am so sorry for what you’ve been through and continue to feel as the years keep going. May you feel his presence and your little boys as you keep taking each day at a time. I’m trusting that God will keep catching us when we fall or are down emotionally, physically and spiritually. It’s felt like a rollercoaster, it still does, but those times I have felt alone and hurting he has always been ready to catch me when I reach out to him. Thank you for sharing your story and the amazing talent God has given you to share. Art has been such a part of my life and I love what you have felt inspired to share.

I wrestled with myself as to comment or not. I lost my son 3 years ago, my heart still aches every single day. I know my pain will remain raw until I draw my last breath. I commented because I saw the hands you painted, my son once told me he was thankful for his hands and the ability he had to draw whatever he set his mind to draw. He was a gifted artist, he left behind so many lovely drawings that adorn my walls. Thank you for painting hands. I pray you continue to have sweet and beautiful memories of your son.

I lost my faith in the church and God during Covid and being a convert to the church of 15 years I stepped away had a deep hate for millennials who were trying to change the church and it’s doctrine to appease their worldly ways all in the name of “love is love”. I will say that it is now May of 2024 and I am starting to come back to the Church slowly. I fell into this deep despair for some reason to where I wanted to just give up and live in the world again. I started gambling again and living those things that God would call sin and basically stopped sustaining the first presidency and its council. My wife who is a devout member of the church I stopped listening to her as well to the place when I contemplated divorcing her just to get away from the church and not have to be around anything to do with the LDS church. Recently I have been feeling empty and unsatisfied with the things of this world. I thought leaving the church would bring me happiness but all I found was an empty man and a empty soul and a marriage hanging by a thread and so much hate for many members of the church who called me an apostate for not taking the Covid vaccine which was the point in which I lost my faith in God, people and in the church. I no longer feel that way as I am slowly coming back and learning to forgive those in the church and on social media who had caused so much hurt in my life. I have never lost a child but I can’t imagine how this sister felt when she lost her son and how she had to keep her faith intact. I am not all the way there yet but I am making strides. I am thankful for the Holy Ghost because I felt like it has never left me. I don’t know why Heavenly Father puts up with me but I am glad he does ..

God is the answer to everything

I did not expect your story and painting to hit me so hard. I have not lost a child, but I do struggle severely with several children that have difficult mental issues. It takes so much from you mentally and physically and you don't pay attention to yourself while you take care of everyone else. All of a sudden you find yourself mentally exhausted and you don't know how to give up the burden you always carry with you mentally that comes with having loved ones with mental illness. I really, really needed to hear about your story and how the painting is interpreted with a scripture in Matthew. It gives me such comfort to know that even though I struggle and my kids struggle, it doesn't go unknown or abandoned by God. Your painting is so soothing to me and it speaks to my very soul. Thank you for sharing this very personal experience and for using your God-given talent for a light for us.

I heard a lot from other people complaining about my task, why i have no enough time to teach my children's, qhy i am late cooking our meal why i can't finnish my laundry, why i did not find a qork qhile my children are in school..( my children is still in kindergarden..) 8 feel sometimes that even i doing enough still is not enough, i feel worthless i feel that qhat i am doing is worthless. And to gain my strength is to kneel down and oray and say all my feelings to our Heavenly Father ask Him for strength and cry...
